Marc has spent his career at the intersection of technology and venture capital as both a founder and investor. As Managing Partner at ArcTern Ventures, he focuses on backing breakthrough innovations to decarbonize the planet. Previously, Marc was co-founder and COO of Unata, an e-commerce platform successfully acquired by Instacart in 2018. His investment background includes partner roles at BlackBerry Partners Fund and Summerhill Venture Partners, following earlier strategic positions at Ericsson and The McKenna Group.

Marc holds a Waterloo Engineering degree and an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business. Outside the boardroom, he does his best to maintain an active lifestyle, whether out on a mountain bike trail, on the water, or chasing a squash ball and hockey puck.
