Dinesh joins ArcTern with an engineering background and broad experience within energy, investments, and startups in the US, Europe, and Asia. He spent his early career across innovation and deployment in his home country of Singapore – first at New Energy Nexus, one of the world’s leading ecosystem of funds and accelerators that support diverse clean energy entrepreneurs, and then at Berkeley Energy, a private equity firm catalyzing renewables projects in the emerging markets of Southeast Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa. He more recently worked on venture and M&A opportunities for Equinor, the 90 billion-dollar Norwegian energy multinational, covering a variety of themes including carbon, power, minerals, and recycling.

He studied Chemical Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology and later completed a Master’s in Metal & Energy Finance at Imperial College London as an Oldfield Robinson Scholar. In his free time, Dinesh enjoys soccer, hiking, and experimenting with cooking recipes from around the world.
