Sophie has joined ArcTern in their Toronto office as the Head of Impact and Investor Relations, where she manages our Environmental Impact, ESG, and LP reporting processes. Originally from Dublin, Ireland, Sophie worked as a Sustainability Consultant at Arup where she gained experience on EU Sustainable Finance and developed decarbonization and sustainability strategies to help guide organizations on their transition to net-zero emissions. Prior to this, Sophie worked as a Mechanical Engineer designing efficient and low carbon HVAC systems.

Sophie holds a BSc degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master’s in Engineering with Business from University College Dublin where she received the Engineering Graduates Association (EGA) medal for achieving the highest GPA in her class. In her free time, Sophie enjoys keeping fit by running and playing sports with friends, discovering new vegetarian recipes, and exploring cities.
