Mathilda joined ArcTern with a background in Engineering and broad experience in energy, emerging technology, and investment banking. She spent her career in the energy industry, working for Shell, where she launched and scaled innovation pilots and energy software businesses, aligning with the company’s transition to clean energy solutions. Prior to ArcTern, Mathilda specialized in advising on private placement and M&A transactions in various climate-related sectors, including alternative protein and the circular economy.

Mathilda holds an M.Eng in Chemical Engineering from Imperial College London, an MSc in Management from London School of Economics & Political Science, and an MBA from Harvard Business School. Outside of her professional life, Mathilda indulges in her love for food and travel – immersing herself in new cultures, exploring hiking trails, and visiting wineries in Northern California.
